Operation method of atmospheric pressure jet-type flow line plasma cleaning machine

This type does not require a vacuum chamber and can be directly embedded into the production line conveyor belt, making operation easier. It is the core model for large-scale production.

1. Preparation before startup

Equipment inspection: Check the power supply and gas supply pipelines (argon, oxygen, nitrogen, etc.) for any leaks, the spray head for blockage, the conveyor belt for deviation, and the safety shield for closure in sequence; for the processing of thermosensitive materials, check whether the cooling module is functioning properly.

Workpiece preparation: Place the workpieces to be processed neatly in the fixture on the conveyor belt, ensuring that the surface of the workpiece is free of large areas of stubborn stains (such as thick layers of oil, which require pre-cleaning in advance), to avoid affecting the plasma treatment effect.

Gas configuration: Adjust the gas ratio and pressure according to the material characteristics (specifically as per the equipment manual).

2. Parameter setting

Basic parameters: Set the conveyor belt speed (0.5-5m/min, the larger the workpiece and the higher the processing requirements, the slower the speed), plasma power supply, and the distance between the nozzle and the workpiece (5-15mm, too close a distance may damage the workpiece, while too far a distance may weaken the processing effect).

Advanced parameters: For wide-range spray heads, it is necessary to set the power in different zones (to ensure uniform plasma jet). For multi-head models, single/double-sided processing modes can be selected. Some equipment supports setting a "processing delay" (to accommodate intermittent production lines).

Recipe storage: Save the debugged parameters as a recipe, so that subsequent workpieces of the same type can be directly called without the need for repeated debugging.

3. Trial operation and effect verification

Initiate a trial run with the machine empty to observe the stability of the plasma jet and the smoothness of the conveyor belt operation;

Place 1-2 samples for trial treatment. After treatment, use a contact angle meter to measure the surface energy (usually requiring ≥50mN/m), or verify the adhesion through tape testing or glue coating testing. If the results are not satisfactory, fine-tune the parameters (such as reducing the conveyor belt speed or increasing the power).

4. Formal operation

After confirming that the trial treatment effect meets the standard, the automatic production mode will be initiated, and the equipment will complete the entire process of "workpiece conveying - plasma treatment - discharge" according to preset parameters, without manual intervention;

Real-time inspection is required during operation: observe the state of the plasma jet and the position of the workpiece conveyor, and conduct sampling inspection of the treatment effect every 30 minutes to avoid treatment failure due to gas pressure fluctuations and nozzle blockage.

5. Shutdown operation

Normal shutdown: First, stop feeding. After all the workpieces on the conveyor belt have been processed, turn off the plasma power supply, gas valve, and conveyor belt motor in order. Finally, cut off the main power supply and gas source;

Emergency stop: In case of equipment malfunction (such as nozzle spraying fire, conveyor belt jamming), immediately press the emergency stop button on the equipment and restart it after the malfunction is resolved.
